In shamanic magick, wealth is never just about possession — it is about movement.

The flow of money, like the flow of spirit, is meant to carry us forward, not fill us up. When we begin to understand this, the way we work with abundance changes completely.

Money as Food vs. Money as Tracks

Many people see money as food — something to consume, something that satisfies for a while before leaving us empty again. But this approach creates waste. The energy of money, like the energy of nourishment, is meant to be transformed — not hoarded, not endlessly devoured.

Instead, see money as tracks for a train.

Money is the means by which your life, your spirit, and your purpose move. You are not here to eat the tracks — you are here to travel them.

When you think of money this way, you step into the rhythm of flow rather than the hunger of acquisition.

The Train, the Tracks, and the Chariot

Imagine the Chariot card from the Tarot — the charioteer standing firm, holding the reins, drawn forward by two horses. The train in our vision is like that chariot. You are the charioteer — consciousness, direction, will. The train (or chariot) is the vessel of your life’s movement.

The two horses are your two tracks.

They represent the dual forces that pull you forward — material and spiritual, action and intuition, logic and creativity, masculine and feminine, giving and receiving.

Each horse, like each track, must move in harmony with the other. If one surges ahead while the other lags behind, the chariot veers off course. Balance is essential — and even within each horse there are four legs working in rhythm, echoing the layers of stability, effort, and structure that keep your journey smooth.

The train cannot move on one rail. The chariot cannot run well with one horse.

So too, your magick, your life, and your money cannot thrive if you cling to a single path, identity, or desire.

The Tree of Life and the Path of Balance

In the Qabalistic Tree of Life, there are three pillars:

The Right Pillar (Mercy): expansion, giving, movement. The Left Pillar (Severity): boundaries, structure, discernment. The Middle Pillar: the balanced flow of divine will — the path of integration and forward motion.

If we live too much on one side — all giving with no discipline, or all discipline with no flow — we lose movement. The energy collapses into imbalance. The true path of manifestation, the true magick of creation, happens through the middle pillar, guided by the balance of both.

In the same way, when you think of money as the tracks that guide your chariot, you must remember: the two rails (or horses, or pillars) are necessary to move forward.

You are not meant to become dependent on one track alone — one job, one goal, one belief, one way of earning or living.

Our souls thrive when they are multitasking with meaning — when different aspects of our being are in motion together, all serving one clear direction.

You can still have one focus, one destination — but the energy that carries you there should flow along both tracks. This keeps you flexible, creative, and awake to all the ways spirit can move through your life.

The Wisdom of Two Tracks

Two tracks keep us from greed.

They prevent us from confusing means with identity.

They remind us that we are not the tracks — we are the train that moves because of them.

The tracks (money, opportunity, support) are sacred tools — not reflections of our worth. When we mistake the tracks for the self, we lose sight of our purpose. When we see them clearly for what they are, we move with grace and intention.

You are the motion, not the mechanism.

You are the charioteer, not the horses.

You are the spirit that chooses direction, not the rails beneath the wheels.

A Shamanic Practice: The Chariot Meditation

Ground. Sit or stand tall and close your eyes. Feel your body as the chariot — strong, centered, ready. Visualize. Before you stretch two radiant tracks of light — one golden, one silver. These are your paths: material and spiritual, action and intuition, body and soul. See Yourself Move. Feel the train of your life beginning to roll forward — or the chariot beginning to glide. The two tracks run parallel, equal, balanced. Affirm. “I am not the tracks; I am the motion. I move in balance between spirit and matter. My money serves my direction, not my identity. My path is guided by two, but I am led by one heart.” Breathe. Let your awareness rest on the movement itself — the feeling of being carried forward with purpose and freedom.

The Deeper Truth of Abundance

When we cast spells or intentions for money, we often think we want the money itself — but what we truly want is experience.

The joy of movement, the freedom of choice, the lessons that come through the journey.

By reframing money as tracks, we open ourselves to flow.

By walking the middle pillar, we find balance.

By holding the reins of our dual horses, we travel forward with strength and awareness.

You are the train.

Money is the track.

Spirit is the direction.

Move with both rails beneath you, and your life becomes the chariot of balance — a sacred journey powered by flow, awareness, and the beauty of motion itself.

The Spell of the Three Pillars — A Shamanic Money Working for Flow and Freedom

This is not a spell for getting money.

It is a spell for moving with money — aligning your central self with the living flow that carries resources, opportunities, and experiences into form.

Its aim is balance, not greed. Motion, not possession.

Purpose

To awaken a healthy, flowing relationship with money and resources — one that supports your path without binding your spirit.

To call in prosperity that serves growth, experience, and balance.

You Will Need

One central candle — white, gold, or deep blue (to represent the Middle Pillar, your true self and divine will) Two side candles — one silver (for the Left Pillar, intuition, receptivity, flow) and one red or green (for the Right Pillar, action, creation, manifestation) A coin, key, or small stone to represent money as a means, not a goal A small bowl of water (to represent movement) A small dish of salt or earth (to represent grounded exchange)

Preparation

Set your altar or working space so that the central candle is in the middle, with the silver candle to the left and the red/green candle to the right — forming a small “Tree of Life” or chariot alignment.

Place the coin or symbol in front of the central candle, between the two side candles, resting halfway between them — as though it lies on tracks.

Take three deep breaths and say:

“I am the center between opposites.

I am the stillness that moves.

I am the traveler, not the track.”

The Working

Light the Central Candle As you light it, say: “I call upon the flame of my higher self, The middle pillar of my being, Balanced between giving and receiving, Between matter and spirit.”
Feel your spine becoming that pillar — rooted in the earth, reaching into the divine. Light the Left Candle (Silver) Say: “I awaken the current of flow and receptivity. The left pillar opens — I receive with grace.”
Feel the left side of your body soften and open like a tide welcoming abundance. Light the Right Candle (Red or Green) Say: “I awaken the current of action and creation. The right pillar strengthens — I give and create with purpose.”
Feel the right side of your body strengthen — the will to act, move, and manifest. Hold or touch the coin/key/stone Say: “This is not my master, This is not my self. This is the track on which my purpose travels. Money flows through me — not to feed me, But to move me.”
Visualize two shining tracks extending from your altar out into the horizon, carrying the energy of movement, opportunity, and experience. See your central light (the chariot or train) gliding smoothly upon them — guided, balanced, and free. Anoint the coin (optional) with a drop of water and a pinch of salt/earth, saying: “Flow and form, balance and motion — I bless the means that serve the middle.” Meditate in the glow of the three candles for several minutes. Feel the triadic current — left, right, and center — harmonizing within you. Know that wealth will come as it must: enough to support your journey, challenge your growth, and move your chariot forward.

Closing

When you are ready, say:

“I walk the middle path,

My heart the chariot,

My will the flame.

I move between spirit and matter in harmony.

All that flows through me serves my becoming.”

Extinguish the candles in reverse order: Right, Left, then Central.

Keep the coin or stone as your token of balance — not to attract wealth, but to remind you that you are the motion, not the means.

Optional Mantra for Daily Alignment

“I am the middle pillar.

Money moves through me like wind through reeds.

I give, I receive, I stay in balance.

I am not the track — I am the direction.”

It’s important to connect with each step of your magick in a sympathetic and empathetic way — to feel the energy as a living conversation between yourself and the universe. Each action, each word, each spark of intention carries emotional resonance, and that resonance is what makes the spell alive. Yet, the power deepens most when you keep it light and playful. Joy, curiosity, and a touch of wonder open the gateways far more safely than force or solemnity ever could. When approached this way, the energy travels freely into the vast universe of your heart and mind, where it can take root — quietly, beautifully — in the field of becoming and now being.
